If you’re not into database geekery like Team Telescope are, you might be wondering what PIM & DAM is short for, and how it can help you!
Simply, our Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) tools are a central online database – your “source of truth”, and the bridge between product and page. Here, you can upload the information relating to various products you might stock, or the correct image collateral and logos for your brand guidelines.
The data and assets in this database can then automatically be pulled through to pages of your website, catalogues, and other printed materials in real-time. This means that if the information in your database is current and up to date, the information across all your linked marketing channels will be too.
Basically, in a nutshell, PIM & DAM will save you time, give you more control, and reduce errors – sounds good, right?

Product Information Management (PIM)
Controlling and updating your product data can be costly, time-consuming (and let’s be honest, pretty tedious), particularly when managing multiple channels.

It automates the catalogue page-building process by feeding product data on to the relevant pages, seamlessly supports with multiple languages and even handles products with complex attributes. It’s also very flexible, giving you full control to customise fields and structure within your products.
If you’re dealing with a large volume of products, you’ll be pleased to know you can bulk-upload new products (via CSV files), or bulk-amend existing products at once.
Oh, and say goodbye to endless scrolling – The Hub’s advanced metadata searching allows you to locate products quickly and easily!

Digital Asset Management (DAM)
