Introduction
The Brief
As a newly launched business, Yorkshire Z’Own came to the Telescope Group with nothing but a name and a mission to “Redefine Expectations” in the events industry.
They required a brand identity and website, to kick-start the business and generate visibility amongst potential event bookers.
The Process
We held a whole host of creative thinking sessions to learn in-depth about our client’s USP, vision and goals for the business, and what we could do to help propel their marketing to the next level.
Our team created the “location pin” icon concept, which appears in Yorkshire Z’Own’s logo (in the negative space of the Y), runs throughout the website, printed materials, and even as large 3D wooden shapes at their events. The blue and gold colour palette was chosen to reflect luxury, intrigue and quality.
The Solution
The new website is modern, and packed with beautiful imagery of Yorkshire’s finest scenery, spaces and destinations; it’s the perfect platform to showcase all that Yorkshire Z’Own has to offer.
We’ve also helped our client with designing and printing business cards, creating digital collateral (such as email signatures and social media graphics) and copywriting.
The Launch
In September 2024 our sister company, Clearsilver, supported Yorkshire Z’Own at an exclusive, invite-only launch event for regional media and event bookers. Clearsilver engaged with key media outlets, inviting them to the exclusive event, and driving engagement across social media channels.
In the breathtaking grounds of Harewood House, journalists sampled some of the unique experiences the business can provide using God’s Own County as the canvas. This included foraging to make nettle crisps in the woodland, an emotive dance performance and a surprise drag act. The event finished with an inspiring interview with Olympic gold medalist Katy Marchant, and an exquisite fire and dine culinary experience.
Following The Launch
Clearsilver’s PR efforts resulted in significant coverage, securing features in both national trade publications and regional media. This coverage bolstered the agency’s message, helping to amplify their mission of redefining what the Yorkshire region offers to the events industry, and exemplified Yorkshire Z’Own’s commitment to delivering authentic and immersive experiences.
