Delivering Impact: Spring Charity Lottery Campaign for a Yorkshire Children’s Hospice

Forget Me Not Children's Hospice

Direct Marketing & Print

Introduction

Huddersfield-based Forget Me Not Children's Hospice supports children with life-shortening conditions, their families, and those living with the loss of their child across West Yorkshire. The charity appointed our print and direct marketing specialists to help in delivering their spring charity lottery campaign.

The Brief

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice must raise  £6 million a year to deliver their invaluable support and care to children with life-shortening conditions, their families, and bereaved parents across West Yorkshire.

Alongside their charity shops and events (such as their annual Dragon Boat Race),  a large amount of their fundraising income comes from their charity lottery.

The charity were looking for a direct marketing specialist who could meet their needs, and offer the best possible service and quality for a competitive price. In partnership with our sister company, Clearsilver, (who specialise in the charity sector) we were delighted to help.

The Process

We managed the print production and postage of over 2200 mail packs, which included a personalised letter, 16pp hospice news booklet, personalised stickers, a branded envelope and books of raffle tickets. The number of raffle ticket books which were enclosed in each mail pack varied, depending on the recipient.

In addition to this, we also supplied an extra 300 books of tickets and 1200 hospice news booklets, which were dispatched straight to the hospice’s marketing team.

The Outcome

We successfully met (and exceeded) our client’s expectations, and delivered their direct marketing on time, and on budget.

As our Charity of the Year, our team are huge advocates of the work Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice do. We are really looking forward to working with this amazing charity again, and encourage you to check out their incredible work:
