Introduction
Our team of direct marketing specialists were delighted to work with family-run meal delivery business, Parsley Box. From their base in Edinburgh, they deliver delicious cupboard-ready meals across the UK.
The Brief
Following a recommendation to the team at Parsley Box, we were delighted to be appointed to be the company’s sole direct marketing provider over the period of 12 months.
Over this time, we fulfilled upwards of £650,000 of direct marketing spend, with an audience of around 70,000 mail pack recipients monthly.
The Process
For these direct marketing campaigns, we delivered all of the print and postage requirements. As a team, we worked tirelessly to maximise Parsley Box’s budget. In order to do this, we recommended different sizes, formats and papers for the mail packs, to increase efficiency and save money on both print and postage.Throughout the process we worked closely with Parsley Box’s own internal marketing and studio teams, and their data management agency who were responsible for the data selection for each campaign.
The Outcome
By conducting a thorough ongoing assessment of Parsley Box’s mail packs, we were able to tweak the designs to deliver long term savings. Their current output is now more efficient, and offers a greater return on investment.
Our client was delighted, and reinvested these savings into additional marketing activity, such as additional tactical promotional inserts within their mail packs throughout the year.
