Website Design & Build
Introduction
digital team on board to design and build a brand new website to showcase and promote their new digital product.
The Brief
Olypsys came to us needing a brand new website to help promote and support an innovative mobile app they were in the process of designing and developing
The Olypsys app is a unique technical measuring tool for O-rings. Not only is it a really smart idea, it’s a huge timesaver for their target market!
The Challenge
One of the main challenges in this project was the setting up login verification software for the website, the Olypsys app and a third party payment service. This software allows the user to be verified as a paying customer so they can use the full functionality of the app.
This is the first website that our digital team have developed that is linked to an app, so it has been a new experience for us, and a challenge we’ve really enjoyed.
And to boot, we are now (probably) officially experts on O-rings!
The Solution
Olypsys had an existing logo design, which we then tweaked and developed into the final logo which the client is using today.
Once the logo was signed off, we moved onto web designs, taking into consideration how best to promote the app and encourage users to download it whilst keeping it clean and simple.
The approach we thought best, was to demonstrate the app in action on a phone screen, linking “screenshot” images with key messaging to help demonstrate the app’s unique functionality.
With these design elements and the technical implementation of the user verification software, we brought the client’s ideal website to life. This has given them an attractive and functional digital space to promote their new app.
"I highly recommend Telescope. Rob, Emma & Ian were great to work with. They understood what we were looking for and were extremely responsive to our feedback and suggestions. The website was delivered on-time and within the budget, and the ongoing relationship with the team has been excellent."
