The Brief
The primary objective was to design a new catalogue/editorial hybrid, which was clean and modern, making the catalogue visually appealing and easy to navigate.
This new hybrid style of publication marked a significant departure from Cromwell’s more traditional catalogue style. Our team of artworkers worked tirelessly to achieve a perfect balance between the innovating a new approach and brand consistency.
The Process
We initiated the project by developing several design concepts. After reviewing the initial designs and layouts, we proceeded to refine and develop our client’s chosen design further. One of the main changes we made was introducing each section of the catalogue with bold imagery and copy, effectively breaking up the product sections and providing a more engaging user experience.
To ensure accuracy and efficiency in getting products onto the catalogue pages, we utilised a smart customised workflow from client supplied data, which streamlined the process of placing product information and images, and allowed us to maintain consistency and precision across the entire catalogue.
The Outcome
The end result was a 240-page catalogue that perfectly encapsulated the clean and fresh aesthetic Cromwell desired, while still remaining true to their brand guidelines. Our production team supplied the finished set of 15,000 catalogues, ensuring that Cromwell had high-quality physical copies for distribution.
We also created a separate version for the Irish market, which involved updating all branding elements, adding different footers, any variations in content where required, and the production of 1000 printed copies.
After the physical catalogue was completed, we produced an iBrochure version for digital use. This was integrated into Cromwell’s website and email footers, enhancing their digital marketing efforts.
