Introduction
The Brief
Our client initially came to us wanting a redesigned logo which would give HMAS’ brand a professional yet approachable feel.
Their existing logo (incorporating a “headphones” graphic) was in great need of modernisation, and appeared to only target the music events industry. HMAS desired a new medical-themed logo, which would appeal to a wider client base.
To the left, you can see our redesigned solution. It follows a blue and white colour scheme, inspired by the NHS secondary colour palette. The Rod of Asclepius emblem was incorporated, and also the medical “cross” symbol to further the medical feel.
We also created a secondary “HMAS Cares” logo, which is used in relation to the Hardcore Medical company values.
Further Work
Following the redesign of the logo, our client appointed our Digital team to build a new website to improve their HMAS’ online presence.
Their existing website wasn’t fit for purpose, and was difficult to navigate for users (both on desktop and mobile). It needed an upgrade to encourage users to engage with the website and give the user the information they wanted more readily.
On the back end of the old website, it wasn’t easy for our client to edit the content, so their content became outdated quickly.

We had virtual meetings with Telescope where the team would, through the art for conversation, draw out our ideals and goals for our website. This then led to planning documents where as novices we could see where the team were going and their thought processes. We provided some photos and wording, and stipulated our regulatory requirements such as our legal duty to publish our Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating for the team to build around that.”

The Solution
The new website design utilised large, high-quality imagery to engage the user visually. The website was restructured with a more streamlined sitemap, making it easier for users to access the information they need quickly, and offer a more slick experience overall.
Our team built the site using WordPress and Elementor, so it is easy for the client to edit and update the content whenever is required.
