The Brief

Universal Security approached us for the design of a new website, with a cleaner look and consistent branding than their existing one.

When exploring their requirements with Emma (our digital designer), they ultimately wanted their new site to offer a more professional, modern feel, and give them an online presence which was in line with the high quality service they provide.

The Challenge

When looking through the existing website with the client, it became clear that the design and structure of the site needed an overhaul in a number of areas. The designs were dated, and the messaging unclear. Key services were not showcased clearly enough, and the navigation of the site offered a poor user experience, ultimately leading to lower levels of traffic on the website.

The Solution

One of the biggest changes in the site was the improved legibility and navigation structure, to aid the user journey. We increased the site’s credibility with new visitors through better use of key statements, clear calls to action, case studies, client logos and testimonials. We increased the use of photographed images and bold headers, to better represent the business and key services. Improved social media links were also added, to drive engagement with the business.

Along with our redesign, the client also invested the time in rewriting the site copy, improving the tone of voice to align with Universal Security’s values.

The new website has been a great success, already gaining a greater volume in traffic since its launch in 2021, and the client is delighted!
