Introduction

Tailored Bathrooms offer high-quality bathrooms to their customers, with luxury design, customer service and affordability as their core values. Our studio have loved working on their catalogue design and supplying beautiful printed copies.

The Brief

Our client was looking for a catalogue design and print expert who could take their printed marketing collateral to the next level. They came to us feeling that their current brochures lacked the wow-factor their products rightly deserved, and that their existing design process could be more efficient.

The brief was to create concept designs for their new brochure, then the print-ready artwork, and finally to produce a set of the finished printed catalogues to a beautiful standard.

With our extensive experience of designing marketing materials for the Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom sector, we were well-placed to offer a fresh approach to the design of the new catalogue.

The Process

A prominent change we made to the brochure’s design was a new style of cover, which gives a contemporary, premium feel, and stands out from their competitors. We also looked at the flow of the products throughout the catalogue, changing the order to offer a better experience for the reader.

Whilst undertaking this project, looking at streamlining the workflow to increase efficiency was front-of-mind, and so we introduced online proofing. We had constant direct contact with the client via Microsoft Teams, which gave quick response times and clear communication. We also showcased The Hub (our PIM and DAM solution) as something for the client to consider for future projects. Adding this to the catalogue workflow would alleviate any issues around product data and imagery, and make the process even smoother in the future!

The Outcome

We proudly delivered 13,500 beautifully printed brochures, with a luxurious soft-touch laminate cover and spot UV detailing. The team at Tailored Bathrooms are delighted with their new brochures, and the streamlined way in which it was created. The new catalogues have had really glowing feedback from their trade partners and showrooms so far, which is music to our ears!

We’re really excited to continue working with the client going forward, and exploring different marketing formats, such as leaflets.
