Introduction
The Brief
OSI is a retailer of quality furniture for the workplace and education settings. Having previously worked with them to create their website, they approached us again with a further project: dividing their existing website into two distinct entities, OSI Education and OSI Office.
Our task was to craft a new website exclusively dedicated to the Office division, leaving the existing website to service their Education division. Our client emphasised the need for a sophisticated and high-end aesthetic, aligning with the premium nature of their products in this sector.
The Design
We began with a strategic examination of OSI’s existing brand elements. We proposed subtle modifications to their logo for their Office offering. This gave a distinct visual identity which would resonate with the high-end market, without straying too far from the client’s existing branding.
We curated a colour palette which incorporated deeper tones to evoke a sense of exclusivity and luxury. We also introduced fabric and wood textures strategically, infusing the website with an upscale feel. New fonts were chosen to complement the new aesthetic. High-quality, carefully-curated imagery further enhanced the design, showing the craftsmanship and elegance of OSI’s office furnishings.
The Build
Our website design and build process involved close collaboration with OSI, and we presented multiple options allowed the client to actively participate in shaping the final look and feel of the website. Their feedback played a crucial role in refining the design elements and ensuring it was aligned with their vision.
Upon the approval of the design, our development team translated the refined design into a fully functional, user-friendly website, with strong attention to detail. We created a landing page on the main domain, so visitors could choose to visit either the Office or Educational furniture site.
The new website is now live, and the client is thrilled with the result!
