Introduction

Evolo Energy are a provider of renewable energy services, offering solar panels, heat pumps, and EV chargers. Telescope were brought on board to deliver design and production services for a series of direct marketing campaigns.

The Brief

New to market, Evolo Energy’s mission is to make their renewable energy solutions accessible and trusted across the UK.

Evolo wanted to test the power of direct marketing, and elected to work with Telescope after a referral from their parent company, who we have had a successful relationship with for a number of years.

The goal was to engage both named recipients and anonymous households in a test region (where Evolo’s parent company already had brand recognition). The campaign needed to introduce Evolo, position them as a trustworthy national provider, and educate recipients about the benefits of renewable energy solutions—all while differentiating them from smaller local competitors.

The Solution

Telescope designed and delivered a three-stage direct marketing campaign. The sequence consisted of two conventional mailers and a third one-piece mailer, each with a clear purpose: introduction, education, and a compelling call to action.

Working within Evolo’s brand guidelines, we infused the campaign with creative elements to ensure technical information was presented clearly and attractively. This included developing custom infographics, illustrations, and adapting existing visuals to enhance engagement and accessibility. The campaign effectively balanced creativity with the professionalism Evolo needed to establish trust and authority in the market.

The Outcome

The initial three-part campaign delivered polished, high-quality collateral that reinforced Evolo’s credibility and aligned with their branding.

We’re proud to have a strong working relationship with the team at Evolo, and have worked on subsequent direct marketing campaigns and supplied Evolo-branded merchandise. Together, we are planning larger direct marketing initiatives for 2025, as Evolo prepares for an expansion following several acquisitions.
